Sugarbeet is an important crop, but it is not the biggest. On an international scale, many crops exceed it in terms of acreage. That leads many crop protection companies to overlook it in favor of other crops – but for Bayer and the seed specialist KWS, it has been an important partnership area for 30 years.

Constantly improving to preserve the business for future generations: that is the goal of the wholesale seed company Pasture Genetics. Their strategy? In Brazil, professional seed treatment has become increasingly important. Not long ago, around 5% of soy seeds underwent professional treatment. In recent years, that figure has risen to more than 30%.
