Along the Danube River, in the country where composer Mozart was born, this year’s European Seed Association Congress took place – in Austria. During the three days, more than 900 representatives from various countries around the world came together to trade, network and gain insights into market developments at Europe’s key seed event. “This is a clear signal that this has meanwhile become a “can’t-miss” event in the agenda of seed people worldwide,” said Garlich von Essen, Secretary General of ESA in his Annual Report.

Also this year, Bayer SeedGrowth was directly represented on-site as sponsor to support stakeholders in the industry to optimize their business with on-seed applied technologies and services. Besides its products and services, Bayer also is putting strong efforts on providing stewardship solutions– a topic in the focus this year. Therefore, SweepAir was presented in Vienna: Bayer’s latest prototype technology for the in-field minimization of dust emission from pneumatic sowing machines.
